Welcome to BiteMap! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BiteMap mobile application ("App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using BiteMap, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 13 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• Will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy

2. Use of the App

2.1 License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, BiteMap grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content

3. User-Generated Content

3.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (videos, comments, reviews). By posting content on BiteMap, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and improving the App.

3.2 Content Guidelines

All content must comply with the following:

• Be respectful: No hate speech, discrimination, or harassment
• Be honest: No fake reviews or misleading information
• Be legal: No content that violates laws or third-party rights
• Be appropriate: No explicit, violent, or offensive material
• Be original: No copyright infringement or plagiarism

3.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, without prior notice.

4. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by BiteMap and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without permission
• Copy or reproduce any part of the App
• Create derivative works based on the App

5. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services such as:

• Uber Eats, DoorDash, SkipTheDishes (delivery platforms)
• OpenTable (reservations)
• Social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram)

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies. BiteMap is not responsible for the actions or content of third-party services.

6. Privacy and Data

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and use your information as described in the Privacy Policy, including:

• Location data to show nearby restaurants
• Usage data to improve app functionality
• User-generated content you upload

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

7.1 No Warranty

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy or reliability of content
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

7.2 User-Generated Content Disclaimer

BiteMap does not verify or endorse user-generated content. Restaurant reviews, ratings, and recommendations are opinions of individual users and do not reflect the views of BiteMap.

7.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BiteMap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the App
• Unauthorized access to your account or data
• User-generated content or conduct
• Errors, bugs, or interruptions in service

8. Termination

8.1 Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@bitemap.fun.

8.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse or harass other users
• Pose a security risk to the App

8.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. We may delete your account data within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted in the App with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BiteMap regarding the App.

11.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
